Amazon Opens 2 New Central Maryland Delivery Stations
E-commerce giant continues to expand in Baltimore area
New stations in Hanover and Baltimore will create 200 jobs
ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Amazon on Wednesday announced the opening of two new delivery stations in Central Maryland, one in Hanover and one in Baltimore.
The new stations will create a combined 200 full-time and part-time jobs and support Amazon’s growing delivery capacity to meet the increasing customer demand in the region.
The Hanover station is located at 2100 Van Allen Drive and is 72,000 square feet. The Baltimore station is located at 1821 S. Hanover Street and is 75,000 square feet.
Amazon said the new stations will allow the company to deliver packages faster and more efficiently to customers in Central Maryland.
