Fury to face Usyk in Saudi Arabia on 18 May
'I've prepared for this for 22 years'
The undisputed heavyweight title fight is finally at hand
The long-anticipated world heavyweight title unifying fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk is to take place in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
Briton Fury will fight Ukraine's Usyk in a bout billed as the "Ring of Fire" in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
Fury, 34, holds the WBC and lineal heavyweight titles, while Usyk, 36, is the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO champion.
"I've prepared for this for 22 years," said Fury, who has a professional record of 33 wins and one draw.
"I'm going to prove I'm the best heavyweight in the world."
Usyk, who has a record of 20 wins, is also confident of victory.
"I'm going to do everything I can to win this fight," he said.
"I know it's going to be a tough fight, but I'm ready for it."
The fight will be the first time that two undefeated heavyweight champions have met in a unification bout since Lennox Lewis beat Evander Holyfield in 1999.
It is also the first time that a heavyweight title fight has been held in Saudi Arabia.
The bout is expected to be a sell-out, with tickets priced from £1,000 to £10,000.
The winner of the fight will be crowned the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
